Did You Know?

There is a difference between an arbitration and a trial.
In arbitration, the case is heard by one or more arbitrators. These cases are not heard in front of juries. The formal rules of evidence don't apply, unless the parties have agreed otherwise. In general, there are not pre-hearing motions.

Legal disputes and their resolutions are often time consuming and costly processes and despite the towering number of lawsuits in this country, you might be one of many people that avoid courts for those exactly reasons. At the same time, however, you might find yourself in an arguments that needs to be resolved and calls for legal advice. If that is the case, you might want to contact one of our Minnesota arbitration lawyers, as an alternative to litigation.

Are you seeking legal information regarding Minnesota arbitration laws? If so, contact our Minnesota arbitration attorney today!

Arbitration is a method of dispute resolution through a neutral third party, the arbitrator, either a practicing or retired Minnesota attorney. The arbitrator issues binding decisions, enforceable under state and federal law and there is no need for a trial or the review of a trial court’s decisions by the appellate courts. Our Minnesota arbitration lawyers are knowledgeable to answer any questions you might have and have the authority to bindingly settle your disputes.

Generally, if people couldn’t resolve their disputes through mediation, they used to file a legal claim. More recently, however, Minnesota arbitration lawyers demonstrated the efficiency and more and more people in Minnesota have realized the advantages of arbitration over litigation:

The increasing use of arbitration to settle civil conflicts and avoid trials is having a big effect on the jury consultant business -- with too many parties settling their disputes out of court, what's the need for a jury anyway?
